The Shade Tree Commission hosted Penn Hill's 2nd annual ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION at Turner Friendship Park. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts planted 3 trees next to the new park pavilion. The celebration included: the reading of an official Arbor Day proclamation; the give-away of tree seedlings; and a tree identification walk around the park.
